Your Role in Our Mission
As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, you'll be part of a collaborative and engaging environment where you'll interact with people from diverse backgrounds. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries with care and attention to detail
- Providing excellent customer service through active listening and empathy
- Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively
- Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and resourceful
- Appropriately communicating with customers to ensure their needs are met
- Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise
- Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate
- Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
- Providing feedback on call issues to help improve our services

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment
- 6 months of customer service experience (preferably in a mechanical or technical field)
- Over 18 years of age
- Ability to type 25 wpm
- High School Graduate or GED
- Comfort with desktop computer systems
- Proven oral and written communication skills
- Logical problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate Windows operating systems
- Organization and work prioritization skills
Nice-to-Haves
While not required, the following skills and qualifications would be a bonus:
- Experience working with mechanical or technical products
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
