Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Accounting Data Entry Associate to join our Accounting team. This is a remote position that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. As an Accounting Data Entry Associate, you'll be responsible for maximizing refunds for UPS damages claims, ensuring accurate and timely payments to our suppliers, and resolving inventory discrepancies with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following:

• Submit UPS and freight damage claims daily, with a special attention to older claims
• Complete all damaged and missing package claim paperwork
• Review refund checks for accuracy and mark them as paid
• Update corresponding documents with the status of each claim at each stage
• Price check and review all invoices for approval prior to payment
• Resolve inventory discrepancies with internal and external parties
• Create payments to ensure vendors are paid accurately and in a timely manner, with discounts applied appropriately
• Perform data entry using NetSuite
• Effectively work with various internal parties to resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders (POs), and payments
• Respond to all co-worker and vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business (or a related field)
• Proficient data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A pleasant and personal demeanor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extremely organized and strong follow-through

Travel Requirements

As an Accounting Data Entry Associate, you'll be required to travel to our NY office headquarters for up to one time per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company.
