Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
Customer Experience:
+ Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Operations:
+ Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. + Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader. + Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
Visual Merchandising:
+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Complete resets and revisions as directed.
Photo Services:
+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Suggestively sell promotional photo products.
Web Pick-up and Maintenance:
+ Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders (pick items), and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store. + Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
Training & Personal Development:
+ Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Skills and Competencies:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
