Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering calls from patients and caregivers, providing information, and resolving issues in a compassionate and professional manner. You will work from the comfort of your own home, using your own computer and internet connection, and set your own schedule within our flexible hours of operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming calls from patients and caregivers with empathy and professionalism, responding to their questions and providing important information
- Assist with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems
- Retrieve information to assist caregivers with payroll-related inquiries
- Utilize de-escalation techniques when supporting upset or frustrated callers
- Offer guidance and directions to both caregivers and patients to effectively resolve any issues they're facing
- Document information and outcomes as necessary
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have at least one year of customer service experience and possess strong computer skills. You will also need:
- The ability to offer empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanor at all times
- The ability to handle calls of a sensitive nature and de-escalate emotionally charged patients and caregivers
- Great active listening skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- A quality-focused mindset and a desire to achieve first call resolution whenever possible
- The ability to accurately and confidently work with numbers and discuss money
Home Office Environment
To work as a Customer Service Representative, you will need:
- A computer meeting the following criteria:
+ Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 (Macs and Chromebooks are not supported at this time) + Memory: 8GB of RAM + CPUs (Speed
- Processors): 6
+ Hard Drive: At least 500MB of free space + Sound: sound card (standard on most computers) + Up-to-date antivirus software
- Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please)
- Dual monitors
- A USB noise-cancelling headset
- A webcam for your certification experience
Flexible Hours of Operation
As a Customer Service Representative, you will enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, within our hours of operation. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 08:00 PM ET. We require contractors to service between 30-35 hours per week, with a preference for contractors who can service some hours on Mondays and Fridays.
Pay and Perks
This flexible opportunity pays independent contractors $13 per hour. Prior to supporting arenaflex, you will need to successfully complete a Certification class, which will take place from December 30th through January 8th. You will receive $250 after you successfully complete certification and begin servicing. As an independent contractor, you will enjoy significant savings in expenses related to transportation, clothing, childcare or eldercare, and food. You may also qualify for home office tax deductions, but you should consult with an accountant to determine eligibility. Additionally, you will receive:
