Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Banking Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Connecting with customers via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve their questions or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, ensuring that each customer feels heard and valued.
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Responding to requests for assistance and/or processing payments in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, providing valuable feedback on call issues to help improve our processes.
  • Providing feedback on call issues to help identify areas for improvement.
  • Upselling products or services to enhance the customer experience, if required.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Banking experience, preferably in a customer service or call center environment.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Proven call center experience, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A typing speed of 25 WPM or more.
  • Proficiency in PC operation and navigation.
  • Entry-level network troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to set up home Wi-Fi network.
  • Ability to set up and configure a router or switch.
  • Core proficiency with a laptop or desktop computer.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stay composed and objective under pressure.
  • Strong listening skills.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a customer service or call center environment.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
