Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our business databases. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain valuable experience in data entry, customer service, and database management.
Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities, and processing customer and account source documents.
- Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures, verifying entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
- Combines data from both systems when account information is incomplete, purges files to eliminate duplication of data, and tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data.
- Secures information by completing data base backups.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Data entry experience or related office experience
- Basic computer courses may be preferred by some employers
