Job Description/Overview:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in supporting sales representatives, project managers, operations, and administration to create an effective transmission of information from one department to another. As a CSR, you will be responsible for preparing sales quotes and proposals for Managed Services customers, researching product and services to support the successful implementation and onboarding of complex IT projects, and interacting directly with clients and employees across all areas of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare sales quotes and proposals for Managed Services customers

  • Research product and services to support the successful implementation and onboarding of complex IT projects
  • Interact directly with clients and employees across all areas of the Company
  • Provide sales support to sales representatives, allowing them to focus on direct sales efforts
  • Research product and review preliminary proposals to assist as necessary
  • Be the “eyes and ears” of assigned sales representatives, maintaining efficiency and productivity
  • Create reliable and dedicated client/customer relationships
  • Manage software, license, and warranty expirations
  • Improve the customer experience by ensuring “bolt-on” products are included in quotes and recorded as configurations with expirations
  • Improve profitability of projects with advanced knowledge of ancillary products and inclusions in quotes and orders

Essential Qualifications:

* Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. College degree preferred

  • Experience: Two years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Microsoft Office suites (Excel and Word)
  • Prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Team-oriented, problem-solving skills, and ownership of work performed

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a managed services company or IT industry

  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software
  • Experience with sales coordination and project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
