Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Process transactions, including registering sales, handling returns and exchanges, and processing voids and discounts
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and keeping counters and floors clean
  • Assist pharmacists with tasks such as entering patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and checking for potential interactions
  • Perform administrative tasks, including processing manual cases for outside program remedy services and performing other duties as assigned
  • Build and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special displays
  • Assist with division of food items and product placement as determined by strategies and methods
  • Provide customer support in the photo area, including digital identification photo service, banner print, and creative machine
  • Take on web pick-up responsibilities, including screening orders and processing requests
  • Assist with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store condition and appearance

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

  • 1+ year of experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems and hardware
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6+ months of experience in a retail environment

  • Previous experience with Walgreens or a similar company
  • Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
  • Proficiency in PC skills and knowledge of store stock control
  • PTCB certification
