Responsibilities
As a Document Controller | Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and interpreting 401k statements to extract relevant data with high precision
- Entering and maintaining data in a new database with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Leveraging Google Docs for data entry and record management, ensuring seamless integration with our proprietary in-house database
- Communicating effectively with the team via Slack or similar chat platforms, providing timely updates and feedback
- Handling 7-10 documents on a daily basis, ensuring a 24-hour turnaround on processing forms
- Providing assistance with reporting needs as required, utilizing your analytical skills to identify trends and insights
- Navigating complex documents comfortably and efficiently, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Working flexibly with the ability to connect on East Coast time, ensuring seamless communication with our team
- Utilizing a proprietary in-house database and PDFs for data handling and management, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry, with a strong understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration
- Proven proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong experience in document control, including organizing, storing, and managing documents, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team via Slack or similar chat platforms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong focus on self-motivation and initiative
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and insights from complex data sets
Nice-to-haves
While not required, the following skills and qualifications would be an asset in this role:
- Experience with proprietary in-house databases and PDFs for data handling and management
- Strong knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
