The Opportunity

As an Airline Customer Service Representative, you'll join our team working out of San Francisco International Airport, where you'll be trained to support one of our airline clients. You'll start with one airline but will have the opportunity to train with others in time, gaining valuable experience and skills that will take your career to new heights. International flights typically use wide-body airplanes that hold 200-300 passengers, who will need assistance from the time they check in until they board (on departures) and from aircraft exit to baggage pick-up (on arrivals). arenaflex is responsible for ground handling – all the services performed for an airline and its passengers while the airplane is on the ground. We specialize in passenger services, so our agents may be working in any role that interacts with passengers in the terminal.

Key Responsibilities

As an Airline Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Managing the passenger experience, from ticketing to boarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient journey for all passengers
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service
  • Maintaining accurate records and data, using computer systems to process transactions and manage passenger information
  • Adhering to safety and security protocols, ensuring the well-being of passengers and staff at all times
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you'll need:

  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and active listening; fluency in English; a second language is an advantage
  • Customer service experience is preferred but not required
  • Computer literacy with fast and accurate data entry skills; attention to detail
  • Calmness; ability to find solutions, even when busy and/or under stress
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon, evening, and/or night) including weekends and holidays
  • The stamina to stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

* Bilingualism in any of the following languages: English/Tagalog, English/Mandarin, English/Cantonese, English/Vietnamese, English/Thai, English/Indonesian, English/Hindi, Gujarati, English/Japanese

  • Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week (including weekends and holidays)
  • Fluency in English and preferred language
  • Computer literate
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States of America (USA)
