Job Summary

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist with arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our revenue operations department. You'll be responsible for performing a range of duties related to medical insurance collections, credits, and patient insurance coverage. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist with arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing duties for the revenue operations department related to medical insurance collections, credits, and patient insurance coverage
• Communicating with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for our patients or to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics
• Responding timely and accurately to payer communications
• Collaborating with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes across teams
• Partnering with clinics teammates, including insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators, to ensure timely and accurate insurance information
• Identifying process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of six (6) months corporate office experience required
• Previous Revenue Cycle experience is preferred but not required
• Data Entry experience filling out online forms
• Savvy in navigating through the internet and provider portals
• Proper claim accounting knowledge is a big plus
• Medical billing or accounting experience is a big plus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience in revenue cycle or medical billing
• Knowledge of medical billing software and systems
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs)
• Certification in medical billing or coding (e.g., CPC, CMC)
