Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Transportation Analytics crew. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for working with large, messy, disparate datasets to provide actionable insights that inform business decisions. You will develop data visualization tools, engage with cross-functional teams, and leverage scripting languages to automate reporting tasks. Responsibilities
* Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and perform ad-hoc analyses to provide essential business insights
- Create ETLs or strategies that pull data from multiple locations and centralize it in a single table
- Develop data visualization tools to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
- Engage with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs
- Partner with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
- Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition
- Document your strategies and share your expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics)
- Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manage data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience)
- Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience)
- Business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems (Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
