Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our team as Product Testers, working from home nationwide in the US. As a Product Tester, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, providing valuable feedback to companies and market research firms. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to earn extra income, learn about new products and services, and contribute to the development of innovative products that shape the market.
Key Responsibilities
As a Product Tester, your main duties will include:
- Properly documenting In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.)
- Taking care of the product being tested and using it responsibly
- Reading and strictly following the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a certain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.)
- Participating in private chat rooms that are opened by market research firms to discuss the product being tested
- Writing reviews as requested in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule for each project
- Using MFour's Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses) for some projects
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Ability to follow specific instructions and maintain attention to detail
- A curious spirit and willingness to learn about new products and services
- Ability to work 15-25 hours per week and commit to a certain routine
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection
- Access to a digital camera or cell phone that takes pictures
- Honesty and reliability
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be at least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience in customer service or market research
- Familiarity with product testing and market research methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
