Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our digital databases. You'll be responsible for inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure that data is entered correctly. Responsibilities

* Data Entry and Management: Input customer and account data by typing text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.

  • Data Verification and Quality Control: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output to ensure accuracy.
  • Research and Data Retrieval: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents to ensure that data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports and store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data security.
  • Document Scanning and Printing: Scan documents and print files, when needed, to support data entry and management processes.
  • Customer Service: Update order statuses for customers and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Data Program Techniques and Procedures: Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

* Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong Computer Skills: Excellent typing skills, with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
  • Basic Knowledge of Touch Typing System and Database Management Tools: Familiarity with touch typing systems and database management tools, such as Access or SQL.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot data entry issues.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a Data Entry Clerk position is a plus.
