Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Typist/Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management systems. Your primary responsibility will be entering and updating data in our systems while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. This role requires strong typing skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Typist/Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry and Management: Input, update, and maintain data in various databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Typing and Data Entry Tasks: Perform accurate typing and data entry tasks with a high degree of precision, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data Verification: Review and verify data to ensure consistency and accuracy, spotting errors and inconsistencies with ease.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed, including organizing files, maintaining records, and ensuring that all data is inputted correctly and efficiently.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Time Management: Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, managing your time effectively to ensure seamless delivery of results.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications or training in data entry is a plus.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in typing/data entry or administrative support is essential, with a strong track record of delivering accurate and efficient results.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy and precision in all data entry tasks.
  • Excellent Typing Speed: Excellent typing speed (50+ words per minute) is required, with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in all typing tasks.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Remote Work Experience: Comfortable working independently in a remote setup, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members remotely.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Docs/Sheets, with the ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
