Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a temporary basis, with excellent potential for permanent employment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer support, answering calls, and responding to queries related to medical insurance. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a respectful and patient manner
- Assisting customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with empathy and understanding
- Accurately documenting call content in real-time to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide seamless support
- Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry developments to provide informed and accurate responses to customers
Schedule
As a work-from-home Customer Service Representative, you will enjoy a flexible schedule that allows you to balance your work and personal life. The schedule will be as follows:
- Work Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM (approximately the first 2 weeks)
- Rotating holidays as needed
Compensation and Benefits

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a New York State resident
- Have a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment

- Be proficient in using computer software and technology to document calls and respond to customer queries
- Have a strong understanding of medical insurance and healthcare industry principles
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

- Experience working in the healthcare industry or a related field
- Certification in customer service or a related field
