Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support our Media business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data pipelines, and implement solutions using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support our Media business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data pipelines, and implement solutions
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
- Create and maintain data sets, tables, and views using data modeling techniques
- Deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations
- Develop and maintain automated work schedulers to ensure data pipeline efficiency
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues in a timely and efficient manner
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
- Experience with creating in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization and development
- Experience creating and maintaining automated work schedulers
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS
- Proficiency in cloud design and product offerings, ideally AWS
- Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub
- Experience using Docker
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
