Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Preparing, inputting, and supporting claimant profiles in our pharmacy network, ensuring accurate and efficient service.
- Assisting pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Coordinating and liaising with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate assignment of medication benefits, promoting seamless communication and collaboration.
- Supporting client needs regarding requirements for claimant medications, including reporting and data management.
- Managing and updating client and claimant information in multiple systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Answering questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies regarding medications, providing expert guidance and support.
- Adapting to changing processes and needs of various clients, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
- Performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our team.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 3 years of related customer service or telephonic experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to ask relevant questions.
- Excellent written grammatical skills and understanding of proper telephone etiquette.
