Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our customs declarations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Understanding and identifying customs documentation
- Transposing customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
- Verifying documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
- Providing excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ensuring compliance at all times to regulations
- Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, logistics, business administration)
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
- Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
- Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics
Essential Skills and Competencies
