Customer Systems Development Team

Our Customer Systems Development team is seeking a seasoned Java Developer to collaborate with cross-functional teams across arenaflex. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with our business leaders and colleagues to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain complex Java applications, including backend systems, APIs, and data structures

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Develop and implement scalable, secure, and efficient systems, including RESTful APIs, web applications, and microservices
• Work with large datasets, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to drive business insights and decision-making
• Design and implement data storage solutions, including databases and data warehousing
• Ensure the security and integrity of systems, including threat modeling and vulnerability assessment
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of applications
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize technical debt and implement improvements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and excellence

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in Java development, including backend systems, APIs, and data structures
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, REST, and multi-threading
• Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large-scale data processing
• Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data access patterns
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
