Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends and patterns, and making recommendations for process improvements. You will work closely with our Quality Control team to ensure that our processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, approval, and root cause analysis on data components
• Helping with making and conveying results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
• Helping with exploring basic impromptu asks resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to permit Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities
• Presenting findings, patterns, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding
• Helping with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from different sources, laying out the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements
• Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team
• Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
• Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
• May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in a related field
• A strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy
• Ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate thoughts and present written, verbal, or presentation delivered to discussions of varying audiences
• Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting measurements
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase is a plus
• Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide suggestions using logic and reasoning
• Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is a plus
• Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-situated climate
• Ability to focus on responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual
• Past internship experience in a related field is a plus
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately
• Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
