About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving their queries, and ensuring their satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
- Processing customer transactions, including payments, deposits, and withdrawals
- Assisting customers with account-related queries and providing information on our products and services
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information in our systems
- Adhering to arenaflex's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
What You'll Do
* Complete daily tasks and balancing features to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer transactions
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and financial institutions to resolve customer issues and process transactions
- Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
- Work on member cases and sports assigned to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction
- Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and federal banking laws
- Process mortgage bills, multi-account deposits, credit card bills, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
- Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Log, study, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
- Process Stop Pays and Check Batching
- Complete daily balancing and department closing
- Obtain information from customers for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic wire transfer requests
- Research and verify incoming and outgoing wire transfer information
- Communicate with vendors to process wire transfers
- Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming wire transfer regulations
- Deposit check returns, review member draft changes, process member exams, verify customers for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing wire transfers
- Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
What You'll Need for Success
* High school degree or GED
- Intermediate Excel and Word experience
- Previous customer/member service experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
Essential Skills and Competencies
* Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure
- Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
- Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and customers
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
- Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits
- Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
- Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
