Job Description
As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting one of our dedicated accounts, handling inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and verifying the caller's information and documenting it inside the appropriate system
- Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and de-escalating situations
- Utilizing multiple systems with your computer to navigate and troubleshoot issues
- Maintaining a quiet and distraction-free workspace, free from background noise
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account
- Gather and verify caller information and document it inside the appropriate system
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and de-escalating situations
- Utilize multiple systems with your computer to navigate and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain a quiet and distraction-free workspace, free from background noise
Essential Qualifications:
* Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have experience in insurance and medical claims
- Must provide 3 professional references
- Customer service experience
- Experience in a high call volume environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with upset customers and de-escalate the situation
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to navigate through multiple systems with your computer
- Technical abilities sufficient to install/uninstall programs and troubleshoot your own equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Genesys Phone Systems
- Previous call center experience
- Previous experience working remotely
- Basic technical support experience

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:
* Pay Rate: $15.00 hourly

- Benefits-eligible on the first of the month after 60 days of employment

Requirements:
* Must be available to train on weekdays
- Training takes place during the daytime hours, approximately 6 am-4:30 pm (PST)
- Must have Open Availability 24/7 to work shifts inside the company's hours of operation
- Attendance is vital!
- A quiet place to work at home with a locked door

- Processor: Intel i3, i5, i7 or i9 (recent generation)/AMD Ryzen 3, 5, 7, or 9 (recent generation)
- 8GB RAM as a floor, 16GB RAM preferred
