Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and teammates with a smile, and proactively approaching customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
  • Serving as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management
  • Providing register coverage as needed and ensuring strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions
  • Upholding company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
  • Collaborating with teammates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Participating in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a seamless shopping experience
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company initiatives to provide informed and engaging customer interactions

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and teammates
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the sports industry

  • Knowledge of arenaflex products and services, or a willingness to learn and develop product expertise
  • Experience with visual merchandising and inventory management
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and teammates
