Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service and Self Storage Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and driving business growth at multiple locations. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
  • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Help customers stay current with payments, making reminder and collection calls when required
  • Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris

Physical Requirements

* Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds

  • Ability to walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
  • Ability to perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris

Qualifications

* Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies

  • Transportation: Our employees are required to have a valid driver's license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available)

Essential Skills and Competencies

* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Strong sales skills, with the ability to assess customer storage needs and make suggestions to drive business growth
  • Ability to work independently at multiple locations, with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport items weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the self-storage industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of storage unit inventory management and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on serving diverse customer populations
