Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Support Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing assistance through online chat support
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service through online chat support, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve customer outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, using data to inform customer service strategies and improve processes
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies, ensuring that customers receive accurate and timely information

Requirements

To succeed as an Online Chat Support Assistant, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex customer issues and develop effective solutions
  • Proficiency in computer applications and online communication tools, including chat software and customer relationship management systems

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, communications) preferred

  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer applications and online communication tools

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of insurance products and services
  • Experience with chat software and customer relationship management systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative)
