About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our customer-facing applications, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects that will challenge and inspire you.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java-based software applications that meet the needs of our customers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers, to ensure that our software solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers
• Develop and maintain large-scale, distributed systems that are scalable, secure, and high-performance
• Work with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to build intelligent systems that can handle vast amounts of data
• Design and implement secure and reliable APIs, web services, and data access layers
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that our codebase is maintainable, efficient, and follows best practices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale, distributed systems using Java and Java-based technologies
• Proven expertise in Java, Spring, REST, and multi-threading
• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, including data structures and algorithms
• Strong understanding of database design and data access patterns
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions, including NoSQL databases
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
