Experienced Customer Service Representative I – Integrated Transportation and Distribution Solutions

Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers via phone, fax, and email to provide information, resolve issues, and handle requests. You will be responsible for scheduling pick-ups, tracing shipments, providing shipment ETAs, rate quotes, and freight charges, as well as coordinating with internal departments and partners to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Scheduling pick-ups, tracing shipments, providing shipment ETAs, rate quotes, and freight charges

  • Coordinating with internal departments, partners, delivery agents, brokers, and container stations to schedule shipments and handle customer issues
  • Scheduling delivery appointments and handling re-consignments
  • Coordinating communication with customers, drivers, and Accounts Receivable regarding Driver Collect and C.O.D. shipments
  • Ensuring the accurate billing of shipments
  • Compiling and delivering custom reports; performing daily audits of reports
  • Documenting all customer interactions for follow-up and record-keeping purposes
  • Assisting customers with "My arenaflex" registration and utilization of our website
  • Meeting the standards for all Key Performance Indicators (Call Quality, Process Knowledge Assessment, Adherence to Schedule, "Make Busy" %, Contacts per Hour)

Essential Qualifications:

* Experience in a fast-paced work environment with strong attention to detail

  • Strong familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and basic typing skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, work effectively as an individual contributor, and as part of a team
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including early mornings, evenings, and non-traditional holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Minimum 1 year of prior customer service experience
