Experienced Claims Customer Service Representative – Automotive Warranty Coverage and Claims Support

Job Summary

As a Claims Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for handling internal and external phone and email inquiries, providing information and explanations on various levels of contract coverage, and supporting the claims process. You'll work closely with our Claims Adjudication Department, management, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and efficient claim resolution. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts

  • Request and distribute internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department
  • Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage, and claims processes
  • Manage workflow, process, and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures
  • Collaborate with management and colleagues to ensure effective communication and efficient claim resolution
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other activities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Other job duties as assigned by management

Key to Success

* High school graduate or equivalent required

  • Strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve and multitask
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management, and customers
  • Proficient working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Type at least 35 wpm and document information while discussing the claim over the phone
  • Automotive Service Department experience preferred, but not required
