Key Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Ensuring solutions align with internal tooling, business strategies, and departmental standards
- Managing project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
- Serving as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams
- Participating in system and acceptance testing
- Scope of work may vary depending on the project task
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management principles, theories, and practices
- Familiarity with Proofpoint PhishAlarm or similar tools
- Experience with ServiceNow Administration, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or similar systems
- Strong understanding of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement
- Major comprehension of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain complex, organization-wide programs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels within the organization
- Basic understanding of technical environments
- Openness to Agile philosophies
- Coursework or experience related to cybersecurity
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple, simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
- Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year
- Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition
- Ability to thrive in a culture that values openness, directness, consciousness, kindness, and empathy
- Fast learner, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a sense of humor
Preferred Qualifications
