The Role
We are seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based data pipelines that drive business value and inform strategic decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Product, and Engineering, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data sets and data models
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and other technologies
- Work with data architects to design and implement data governance and data quality initiatives
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data pipeline efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain data-driven applications and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and errors in a timely and efficient manner
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong knowledge and experience with Python, SQL, and other programming languages
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
- Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling concepts
- Experience with automated workflows and schedulers
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
- Proficiency in cloud design and product development, ideally with AWS
- Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Strong understanding of data visualization and data storytelling concepts
- Experience with data-driven applications and services
