Job Summary

As a Part-time Data Entry Specialist (Remote), you will play a critical role in supporting arenaflex's clients by accurately and efficiently entering data into internal and external systems. This is a 3-4 month contract opportunity, with the potential to extend or lead to a permanent position. You will work remotely, with the flexibility to work from home or in our office, depending on the client's requirements.

Responsibilities

As a Part-time Data Entry Specialist (Remote), your key responsibilities will include:

  • Entering client employee payroll information and personal employee data into databases in a timely and accurate manner
  • Updating client and company-level information, such as delivery addresses and contact information, to maintain accurate account records
  • Inputting State Unemployment Insurance rate changes to ensure the integrity of client taxes
  • Working with clients to resolve any data entry-related issues or discrepancies
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of Data Entry experience
  • Basic Excel experience and computer knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with data entry software and systems

Schedule and Compensation

As a Part-time Data Entry Specialist (Remote), you will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with the flexibility to work from home or in our office. Your hourly pay rate will be $16 to $21, based on your experience.
