Scope of Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, following standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities
- Accurately entering patient profiles and medications
- Maintaining accurate information for patients and facilities
- Billing and crediting each facility appropriately and accurately each month
- Maintaining reasonable production as determined by supervisor
- May be required to travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges
- May assist in orienting and training new employees
- Completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Performing other duties as assigned
Attendance Requirements
As a remote employee, you must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts. You may be required to work nights and weekends as needed.
Educational Requirements
* Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field
Experience
* Preferred: Hospital, Long-term Care, or Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- 3-6 months experience as a pharmacy technician
Required Certifications
* Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (Vermont Employees)
- Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician (New Hampshire Employees)
- Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician (Ohio Employees Only)
Special Conditions of Employment
* Drug test
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
- Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation
* $14.56 - $19.45 an hour
- The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
