About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned Java developer with a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software systems. As a key member of our Customer Systems team, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our customer-facing applications, and we're excited to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java-based software systems that meet arenaflex's high standards for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Utilize your expertise in Java, Spring, and REST to design and implement robust and scalable APIs, web services, and microservices.
- Work with large datasets and develop efficient data access and storage solutions using NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Ensure the security and integrity of our systems by implementing robust security measures and conducting regular code reviews.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and adherence to arenaflex's coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry and contribute to the development of arenaflex's technical roadmap.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale Java-based software systems.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and REST, with experience in developing scalable and efficient APIs, web services, and microservices.
- Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, including data modeling, data access, and data storage.
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and techniques.
- Experience with testing frameworks, including JUnit and TestNG.
