As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:

+ Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Operations:

+ Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.

Pharmacy Support:

+ Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs. + Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions. + Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow. + Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhere to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program.

Inventory Management:

+ Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. + Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.

Store Maintenance:

+ Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). + Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers. + Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) or state required certification/registration preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or healthcare environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

* PTCB certification or state required certification/registration.

  • Experience with pharmacy systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members.
