Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our AWS IT Services Support team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources, assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience, and owning the strategies to create that experience. You'll help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement, and set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless delivery of IT services to arenaflex employees worldwide

  • Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
  • Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
  • Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
  • Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
  • Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure arenaflex remains at the forefront of innovation

Essential Qualifications

* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations

  • 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
  • Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
  • Proven track record of success in managing remote teams and delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with AWS IT Services Support and/or similar IT support environments

  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and methodologies (e.g. ITIL)
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools and platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Exchange)
  • Certification in IT service management or a related field (e.g. ITIL, CompTIA)

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:
