Job Summary
As a Union Benefits Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in educating union members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation. You'll work closely with our team to provide personalized support, answer questions, and help members make informed decisions about their benefits. This is a sales role, but we don't believe in cold calling. Instead, we focus on building relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Educate union members about benefits available through their union affiliation
- Provide personalized support and answer questions from members
- Help members make informed decisions about their benefits
- Work closely with our team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with union associations to develop and implement benefits solutions
- Meet or exceed sales targets (optional)
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field
- Proven leadership abilities and a track record of success in a sales or customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual or multilingual skills (a plus, but not required)
- Experience working with labor unions or credit unions
- Knowledge of benefits solutions and industry trends
- Certification in customer service or a related field
