Responsibilities
As an Experienced Business License Research Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting industry and location-specific research for our clients, identifying all federal, state, county, and city level business licensing requirements
- Creating business-specific research packages for timely delivery to clients
- Identifying and compiling licensure specifications in both PDF and Excel formats, including:
+ Forms + Hyperlinks + Supporting documents + Exam requirements + Prerequisites + Turnaround times + Fees + Renewal data
- Communicating directly with government agencies to assist with business license research inquiries
- Providing research in connection with internal support tasks for other BL team members
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent customer relations and customer support skills
- Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex information
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, law, public administration)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in government compliance or business license research
- Knowledge of federal, state, county, and city level business licensing requirements
- Experience working with government agencies and officials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

- Shift: First shift (8 AM - 4 PM)
