Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering 70-90 incoming phone calls per day from customers, identifying the type of assistance needed, and providing timely and effective solutions
- Making outbound calls to customers regarding medical referrals, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
- Asking relevant questions, actively listening to customers, and documenting required information in computer systems to ensure accurate and efficient issue resolution
- Assisting customers with obtaining prescribed medical equipment and supplies, providing clear guidance and support
- Verifying insurance eligibility and benefit coverage, obtaining insurance authorization, and ensuring customers have access to necessary healthcare resources
- Researching complex issues across multiple databases, collaborating with support resources to resolve customer issues, and escalating concerns as needed
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (or higher) and a minimum of 1+ year of experience working in a customer service environment, preferably in a call center setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedule during normal business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm PST) and occasional overtime, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
