Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Care Representative, you'll be responsible for providing introductory information to prospective and new customers, ensuring that consumers are satisfied with products or services by handling complaints and inquiries, and following up with clients or customers by phone or email to check that they're still satisfied with their purchases. You'll also be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients via phone, email, or chat
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services to clients
  • Collaborating with a team of Customer Service Representatives and other departments to find effective solutions to problems
  • Troubleshooting common issues with products or services
  • Escalating queries and concerns, when necessary
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed and accurate information to clients

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote customer service environment

  • Knowledge of CRM software and customer service tools
  • Experience with upselling and cross-selling products or services
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
