Job Summary
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Using empathy and fantastic listening, verbal, and written communication skills
to help patients and their families understand confusing and often unexpected medical bills.
Providing outstanding customer service
and collaborating with patients over the phone on affordable payment plans, and taking payments by phone.
Using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail
to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day.
Supporting your fellow team members
with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and caring team focus.
Continuously improving
, with supportive coaching/feedback from your manager and team leads and ongoing training.
What You'll Need

2+ years of experience
in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Strong computer proficiency
, with experience using software systems and technology to document calls and follow-ups.
Ability to work independently

Schedule
* 8 hour shift: Our standard workday is 8 hours long, with a 30-minute break for lunch.
- Day shift: We operate on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
- Monday to Friday: Our standard workweek is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend or evening work required.
Location
* Colorado (Required): We require all employees to be located in Colorado, with a mandatory 1-day in-office orientation at our Denver/Aurora office for local residents.
