Join Our Team
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the primary customer interface for inquiries, handling incoming phone calls and providing expert support to navigate the challenging world of insurance. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering best-in-class service and making a difference in the lives of our members.
Responsibilities
* Interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail to provide exceptional customer experiences
- Researches customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues
- Elevates sensitive customer requests when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Complies with State and Federal regulations and mandates, taking initiative to stay current on policies and procedures required to support the customer and ensure compliance
- Remains current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
Requirements
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred)
- Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length
- Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a health insurance or related field
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications
