The Role of a Patient Care Advocate
As a Patient Care Advocate at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for patients seeking guidance on their pharmacy benefits, medication, and overall healthcare. Your role will be to provide empathetic, informed, and personalized support to patients, addressing their concerns, and escalating issues as needed. Key Responsibilities
* Respond to phone inquiries from patients, addressing their concerns and providing personalized support
- Help patients understand their pharmacy benefits, using your knowledge, problem-solving skills, and support from your team
- Document all interactions in real-time, using your expert listening skills to get to the heart of a patient's question quickly
- Identify and empathetically address patient concerns, escalating issues as necessary
- Collaborate with your team to ensure patients receive the best possible advice and support
What You Should Have
* High School Diploma or GED required
- College degree or Junior College degree with a healthcare focus preferred
- 1 year of relevant customer care experience
- Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge
- Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to work specified shift and extended hours as necessary
