Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service and Operations Support

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. You'll work independently, with minimal supervision, to read and enter data from customer service documents, shipping orders, and other relevant materials into our computer systems. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in verifying the accuracy of the information and maintaining consistency throughout our system.

Job Responsibilities:

* Read and decipher customer and shipping orders submitted in person, via our print catalog, and online, ensuring accurate data entry

  • Key data into specific Microsoft Excel fields, with a focus on maintaining consistency and accuracy
  • Read and enter data from other source documents, such as invoices and contracts
  • Verify the accuracy of the data before entering it into our system
  • Ensure that data is consistent throughout the system, including updating customer information and addresses as needed
  • Report any data errors or anomalies to your supervisor in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and updated logs of ongoing work, including tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement
  • Perform filing, copying, and other administrative duties for approximately three hours per day, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Essential Qualifications:

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) + Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills + Excellent organizational and communication skills + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Patience and attention to detail for repetitive tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Reading knowledge of English (with the ability to read and understand Spanish, as approximately 5-10% of our orders are in Spanish) + One to two years of experience in data entry and/or filing + Social perceptiveness and service orientation skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
