Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing data pipelines to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data services. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Your expertise in cloud computing, data warehousing, and data lakes will help us drive business growth and inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop data pipelines to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data services
- Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes using cloud-based technologies
- Work with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate data pipelines with applications and services
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to data engineering practices
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing data pipelines with large and complex datasets
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IICS, and other data integration tools
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes
- High-level SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with data governance policies and procedures
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with data science and machine learning techniques
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Databricks, Apache Spark, or Hadoop
- Experience with data governance frameworks, such as GDPR or HIPAA
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS Lake Formation or Azure Synapse Analytics
