Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Fielding incoming customer service calls, taking ownership of resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Researching account status and identifying potential issues
- Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes
- Processing disconnection and re-connection requests
- Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues
- Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests
- Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required: Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for communicating effectively with our diverse customer base
- Outstanding Phone Etiquette and Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and resolving issues efficiently
- Excellent Listening Skills: Ability to listen attentively to customers, understand their concerns, and provide personalized solutions
- Calm Demeanor in High-Pressure Situations: Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor when dealing with agitated customers
- Attention to Detail and Commitment to Quality: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service
- Strong Quantitative, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and suggest process improvements
- Proficiency in Windows Environment and MS Office Applications: Familiarity with Windows environment and MS Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
- Inbound Call Center Environment: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred
- Retail Electricity Industry: Experience within the retail electricity industry is strongly preferred
- Similar Markets: Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable is also preferred
