About the Role
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven insights, and implement solutions that drive results. Your expertise will be essential in shaping the future of retail, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that impact our business and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Source Identification: Identify and extract relevant data sources, define data requirements, and perform preliminary data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Problem Formulation: Analyze business problems, identify key drivers, and develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
- Analytical Modeling: Develop and implement analytical models that drive business insights and inform decision-making. This includes selecting suitable modeling strategies, developing variables and functions, and conducting exploratory data analysis.
- Model Deployment & Scaling: Work with MLOps to deploy models to production, continuously log and track model performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Code Development & Testing: Write code to develop and deploy data-driven solutions, create test cases to validate proposed solutions, and contribute to code documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Applied Business Acumen: Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business needs into data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
- Model Assessment & Validation: Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply appropriate testing and tuning strategies, and ensure testing records are documented and maintained.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Develop compelling stories and visualizations that communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, and guide junior team members on data visualization best practices.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong background in data science and analytics
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data science in general
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
- Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including junior team members
- Experience with MLOps, coding standards, and data quality best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into simple language
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business, product, and application partners
