Responsibilities

As a Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and welcoming customers and guests, demonstrating "active selling," providing product information and guidance, and ensuring a high-quality customer service experience
• Assisting in maintaining the appearance of the sales floor, setting up seasonal promotions/visual displays, and regularly monitoring assigned areas for product restocking and recovery
• Operating cash registers, assisting customers with check-out, and executing appropriate cash handling procedures
• Helping receive and process incoming merchandise and assisting with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests; possibly handling seasonal perishable goods
• Supporting the digital and in-store shopping experience through assisting with responding to customer inquiries

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Be able to occasionally climb ladders
• Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Be able to stand for long periods of time

Qualifications

To be successful as a Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you'll need:

• A pleasant personality and excellent customer service skills
• Moderate computer/systems competency
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required
