Senior eCommerce Merchandiser – Contract

Job Description:

Assist in the creation, uploading, and maintenance of product listings, including descriptions, pricing, images, and inventory levels on the eCommerce platform.
Collaborate with the buying and inventory teams to ensure accurate product availability and timely updates to the online store.
Optimize product discovery and site merchandising using Algolia and Shopify’s native tools.
Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure product pages are visually appealing and consistent with the brand’s identity.
Update and manage promotional banners, product collections, and category pages based on seasonal trends and marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with the customer service team to address product-related inquiries and issues promptly.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail merchandising, or a similar role.
Experience with search tools like Algolia, Content Stack (CMS)
Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
Strong understanding of online merchandising, product listings, and inventory management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
