Fractional COO/VP of Operations
Job Description
Overview We are an educational admissions consulting organization seeking a dynamic leader to help manage and expand our growing business. This role is crucial for overseeing operations, coordinating teams, and driving strategic growth into adjacent professional-school verticals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations across sales, support, and marketing teams.
- Coordinate with marketing partners to ensure alignment and progress.
- Delegate decision-making authority to streamline processes and reduce bottlenecks.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand into adjacent verticals such as dental and law school consulting.
- Act as an extension of the founder, managing tasks and addressing issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Experience in educational consulting or similar high-ticket B2C environments.
- Proven managerial experience, ideally at a director or VP level.
- Familiarity with established industry providers or similar organizations is a plus.
- Strong operational leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams.
- Ability to work approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexible location (North America preferred).
- Budget management experience, with a monthly budget cap in the ~USD 8,000 range.
